Badass Mum Mila Kunis Gets Real About Parenting:

She said, "I come from communist Russian Federation, where you're not allowed to be happy, so my holiday traditions are 'be quiet.' Coming to America is when you realize Christmas has a magical quality to it".

"We're instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn't really matter", she said, adding that last year, when Wyatt was a toddler, it was all just "too much".

If their parents get them presents, they can only get one.

Kunis, who is Jewish, did not grow up celebrating Christmas in Ukraine, where she was born. According to her, "the children do not appreciate more the gifts". However, she has embraced Christmas since coming to America as a child and puts her own spin on it.

While promoting "A Bad Moms Christmas" on Entertainment Tonight, Kunis said the couple decided not to give their two children any gifts for Christmas.

She said: 'This young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said "I'm Marla and I love your husband". Watching their campaign work caused her to write this new book, she added.

"What motherhood shows you is how selfless you can get", she said. 'They don't even know what they're expecting; they're just expecting stuff'.

Kunis said she and Kutcher each asked their parents to limit the gift-giving to one present this year. 'There's enough a**holes in this world.

Kunis is asking friends and family to respect to their new rule and is even offering alternative options.

Speaking of family time, Mila also revealed that she and Ashton take the whole family along when they're working. "Because I've already done it once and the kid doesn't resent me, so I was like, 'OK, I think I can do this".
