Simmons loses in 76ers debut, Nets' Lin hurt

Fultz called the setting for his first pro game "anything you can wish for".

Even Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, who has been reluctant to shower any big men with praise since he retired, complimented Embiid after seeing him play in the Sixers opener on Wednesday.

At this point, the Sixers would like to do away entirely with the term "minutes restriction", which was originally bestowed upon Embiid a year ago.

I just wanted them to come to me direct and say, 'Look, this is what we're thinking, ' and not have to read it or hear about it and then go to them and say, 'What is this?' If they felt that I just wanted them to be honest and direct. "It all equaled the number that kind of surprised all of us, none more than so".

The exact causes of the decline are still unclear. "The research areas are mostly small and enclosed by agricultural areas". After 27 years, the total average weight has been declined by more than 75 percent .

"His first game was really exceptional - really, really exceptional".

"We gotta stop calling it a minutes restriction", Embiid said.

"Just thinking about the growth I had and how quick it came, it came real fast", Fultz said. He realizes that he needs to be honest with the staff about how he's feeling when they ask him, something he may not have recognized before. Me averaging twenty points a year ago. With Embiid looking healthy and Ben Simmons on the floor, there's plenty of reasons for 76ers fans to be excited for the season - and a playoff spot may be within reach. He believes he's ready to handle playing around 26 minutes a night on consecutive days.

While last year's minutes restriction became a benchmark for Embiid to grow upon, Brown doesn't want to compare the two situations. He has missed a lot of time in the preseason while he was recovering from surgery, so the Sixers will have to bring him along slowly and restricted his playing time, at least for the time being. Each game will be a case-by-case basis, all dependent on how Embiid feels on a given night. "I think it should always be about how my body feels and how it's reacting", he added.
