His bandmates held a memorial concert in his honour at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl last night.

Performing some of their biggest hits in front of a sold-out crowd, the concert was also live streamed on their website and fees from the evening donated to Music For Relief's One More Light Fund. It also featured a rendition of 'Numb' with the microphone left vacant, a brand new song from Mike Shinoda written after Chester's death ('Looking For Anwsers') and plenty of reminders about how much joy Chester brought to the lives of others.

The band had been set to go on tour starting July 27 in Boston, with dates stretching into the fall.

Blink-182, Avenged Sevenfold, Takahiro "Taka" Moriuchi of ONE OK ROCK, and Deryck Whibley were some of those who performed.

Kiiara and Julia Michaels were invited out for "Heavy" just before the band played the album title track, "One More Light" and let the audience roar along to Shinoda on vocals. Shinoda performed the song solo, accompanied only by piano.

"The thing that helps us get through it is each other and I'm very grateful for that", he said.
