Wizards' Wall's shoulder in sling

Wizards' Wall's shoulder in sling

Given how early it is in the season, and how important Wall is to the team's success, it's not surprising that the Wizards have chose to play this safe and hold Wall out for a while.

Now Washington's leaders, John Wall and Bradley Beal, are doubling down on prior statements implying the Cavs ducked the Wizards past year by intentionally avoiding the #1 seed.

To add insult to injury, Wall spoke with ESPN's Rachel Nichols before Friday's game and said he believes the Cavaliers intentionally dropped games during the end of last year's regular season to avoid matching up with the Wizards in second round of the playoffs.

According to ESPN, Wall's x-rays were negative but he still left the arena with his arm in a sling. "I think his impact and the way he was coming kind of gave me a stinger".

BJP to hurdle release of Ranveer, Deepika's 'Padmavati'
The Congress leader added: "Postponing the release of the movie will not assuage the feelings of a community". The BJP leader also claimed " Padmavati and Khilji had never met in real life".

Speaking with the media postgame, Wall said that he "shouldn't have been out there" playing with the injury, but that he chose to play on.

Wall has averaged 43.4 FanDuel points per game this year and is projected for 25.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game the rest of the season. Even so, losing Wall would immobilize the Wizards' high-scoring offense.

James scored an National Basketball Association season-high 57 points on Friday, helping the Cavs snap a four-game losing streak and beat the Wizards on their home court. When Wall's shot does not fall, he contribute by sharing the ball.

Friday night's loss against the Cavaliers was demoralizing for the Wiz in many ways. "It was a seesaw first road trip for us, but we can go back home and say, 'Hey, we made it through and we can be better next time around.' To have that type of feeling after this trip is definitely good". However, after sitting out games on November 5 and 12, Wall started 70 consecutive games before Coach Scott Brooks rested starters in the final two regular season matchups.
