OnePlus 5T: They forgot to upgrade one massive feature

With that in mind, here's how the new OnePlus 5T compares to the Galaxy S8. Brian Yoon, the head of user experience at the company, spoke about how the company made a decision to keep OxygenOS similar to stock Android for ease of use, battery life, lack of bloatware, and memory optimisation, among other aspects. Gone is the wide plus short telephoto camera combination and in its place you'll find a 16MP (Sony IMX398) + 20MP (IMX 376K) unit instead.

The biggest overhaul in the OnePlus 5T is its design. The phone will go on sale on November 21 at select regions.

As it was previously expected, the OnePlus 5T was launched in India starting from Rs 32,999.

Overall, the most prominent physical changes coming to the 5T is the 6.01-inch, 1080p (1080 x 2160 pixel), 18:9 aspect ratio display. OnePlus has added accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, ambient light sensor, RGB, Sensor Hub and fingerprint on the the back of the device as sensors to enhance the user experience of the smartphone.

It calls on Saudi Arabia to not target school, hospitals or other targets on its no-strike list and to broadly improve targeting. The missile was intercepted near the capital of the country.

As you may have noticed, there are no specific dates as to when these two updates will be rolled out to OnePlus 5 handsets.

Even though the experience doesn't dramatically differ from other Android customizations, it's just a bit shocking that it's launching with Android 7.1.1 Nougat - rather than Oreo, much like its contemporaries. After weeks of speculations, and leaks that revealed the phone much in advance, the OnePlus 5T has been launched in India. There's also a 16MP front-facing camera (IMX371) with an aperture of f/2.0.

The OnePlus 5T will cost £449 in the United Kingdom for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage model, going up to £499 for the 8GB RAM/128GB version. By the looks of it, it won't be as secure or accurate as the Face ID on the iPhone X, but it is certainly faster, being able to unlock the screen in 0.4 seconds. To OnePlus' credit, though, it does do a decent job at communicating its efforts in the forums on what changes are being fixed and when the fixes will come through, so if there are issues with the software at all it's not unlikely that users of the OnePlus 5T who install the Oreo beta software when it lands will have all the information from the company on what's happening. There is no official water resistance rating. OnePlus 5T open sales begin on November 28 in India along with European Union and USA market. And the phone's front camera comes with Auto HDR support. You've got a 1080p display on it in a time where most high-end phones are using QHD. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of OnePlus 5T is priced at Rs. 37,999. There are a couple of new widget and wallpapers, plus a neat Face Unlock feature, but we wouldn't be surprised to see these trickle down to older devices at some point too. The company is also using its "Intelligent Pixel Technology" which "merges" four pixels into one, which then helps reduce noise and brighten the captured photo. The upgrade comes in the form OnePlus increasing the aperture of its secondary camera to f/1.7, which should allow for better low-lit photography. Now, you can swipe up and down to access all of the different camera modes.
