Selena Gomez accused of lip syncing during first performance in a year

The singer hit the American Music Awards red carpet on Sunday with a new blond 'do.

The Come & Get It singer, who recently reconciled with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, showed up in a black leather look ahead of her debut of new song, Wolves, with DJ Marshmello at the big show.

Later in the night, Gomez thanked her fans for supporting her performance. It's also possible the live feed wasn't mixed properly for TV.

Selena sat on the hood of a vehicle that seemed to be in a swamp whilst the dancers contorted themselves into odd shapes as she sang her latest hit "Wolves".

Honestly, we just aren't sure what to make of her performance. "I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down", she said. "I want to see what's in here", she continued, with her hand on her heart.

One person wrote, "Selena Gomez can't sing to save her life".

Selena has yet to comment on the performance.

Christina Aguilera paid tribute to Whitney Houston on the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard with a medley of I Will Always Love You, I Have Nothing and Run To You.

Pink later revealed via social media that she teamed up with the dance group Bandaloop, and learned the entire routine within five days.
