Wall (knee) to miss next two weeks

"He is expected to miss approximately two weeks", the team reported on its official website.

The 27-year-old Wall sat out a loss to the Toronto Raptors on November 19 due to knee soreness but played the past two games, including scoring 31 points in Wednesday night's 129-124 loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

"Wall will receive PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and viscosupplementation injections to reduce the inflammation in his left knee".

Wall has suffered a series of knee injuries in his career.

Former Jets CB Darrelle Revis finally finds a new team
A source close to the deal told NFL Insider Ian Rapport that Revis agreed to a two-year deal that will pay him the league minimum. Since then their pass defense, which ranked 18th was average as a unit in 2016, has fallen to 28th this season.

The Wizards have had a lot of up and downs already this season.

Dr. Richard D. Parker with the Cleveland Clinic Marymount was consulted about the injury.

The Wizards will turn to backup point guard Tim Frazier in his absence. Not quite as good as last season, but he is averaging 20.3 points, 9.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. He's appeared in seven of the team's eight games in the subsequent days. The Wizards are 1-1 without Wall so far this season with both games coming against the Raptors. They entered the season with expectations of contending in the East, but at 10-8 they've struggled to separate themselves from the rest of the playoff contenders.
