New Tomb Raider Game Announced With a Hidden Message

This goes together with leaks that came out previous year, suggesting that the new Tomb Raider game would be called "Shadow of the Tomb Raider". Based on Square Enix's letter to fans, it seems that the publisher is taking a more Bethesda-like approach, so we can expect the game to come out soon after its reveal.

This new Tomb Raider game is definitely Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It's been heavily rumored that the next Tomb Raider game will be called "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" and this adds weight to that rumor, or it's just a fantastic fadeout by Square Enix.

That's bound to be pretty exciting news for Tomb Raider fans who are excited to pick back up where Rise of the Tomb Raider left off. While the name wasn't confirmed, we do know we'll be continuing Lara Croft's adventure very soon.

San Marcos officer killed by suspect while serving warrant
The San Marcos Police officer shot and killed in the line of duty has been identified as 58-year-old Kenneth Copeland. It was not immediately known whether the suspect shot himself or was shot by an officer on the scene, Stapp said.

All of which means - if Crystal Dynamics is still on Tomb Raider too, and everything we've heard suggests so - there are now two big Tomb Raider titles in development.

One of gaming's most iconic franchises, Tomb Raider, is getting another installment. It looks as though Square Enix might be doing something similar to what Bethesda did when they announced Fallout 4 and released it 6 months after its official reveal.

The above statement might read as normal but it might actually tease the subtitle of the game. But we very much doubt it.
