Twitter Adds Support for Threads with 'Add Another Tweet' Button

So whenever you feel like you're going on an epic Twitter thread, you can now officially create a thread by clicking the plus button on the composer so you can connect your tweets together. Whether it's a tirade about an issue or a amusing or touching story that they're telling, Twitter threads are a good way to express your thoughts or tell a story. To stitch a thread, one needed to continue replying to the newest Tweet in their thread until the narrative is complete.

Twitter users who wanted to exceed the 280-character limit, but still post more information than was possible to cram into a single post, found innovative approaches.

The company said in a blog post that it was inspired to create the tool based on what users were already doing. The good news is that it appears that the feature is indeed real, as Twitter has announced it which they are referring to it as "Threads", a feature which they are expected to roll out in the next few weeks.

In addition to being able to see the originator's sequential thread posts when viewing a thread, users can also see any responses from the rest of the Twitterverse.

Until now, there was no specific "Twitter thread" feature available for the users.

Threaded tweets will carry a "Show this threads" label. And now, Twitter is making it official by introducing a new tool that will make it easier to both post and read threads. It's been how Twitter users have dealt with longer topics. The firm has made moves to increase transparency around advertising, clarify its rules about what violates its terms and conditions and is changing its criteria for verifying users.
