Recently, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson even said that he had warrned Islamand that Pakistan may lose territory if it did not fight home-grown terrorists.

A recent Pentagon report on Afghanistan that was submitted to Congress has also suggested the U.S. could resort to "unilateral actions" in areas of divergence with Pakistan.
