Trailer For 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' Is Here

Ten years after Mamma Mia!

The first trailer for Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again was released this morning, giving fans a first look at the sequel to the beloved onscreen ABBA musical that released in 2008.

Streep is listed as reprising her role in the film, which will tell Donna's story when she was younger (played by Lily James) and first met the three men who possibly spawned Sophie. Hoping to inspire Sophie to find strength and courage, her family friends (Julie Walters and Christine Baranski) begin chronicling the early years of her mother, Donna (Meryl Streep), who raised Sophie on her own. And someone else tweeted that "Cher is in the new Mamma Mia movie & it's gonna save 2018". Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunite as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Oscar victor Colin Firth return to play Sophie's three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry.

"Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" arrives in theaters July 20. The Movie grossed more than $600 million around the world, you are invited to return to the magical Greek island of Kalokairi in an all-new original musical based on the songs of ABBA.

Lily James will play a young Donna. And you heard correctly-she's Sophie's grandmother! Because they're really talking about Meryl Streep's Donna like she's dead? As for her fate, we'll just have to take a chance, take a chance, take a chicka-chance chance.

Boy calls 911 to catch the Grinch
The child had been watching videos online of the Grinch doing his Grinchy deeds before he called police. But before they finished the job, another Grinch stole them, the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office said.

Streep also features in a behind-the-scenes photo posted by the producer.

Streep does not appear in the trailer, except for in flashbacks from the first film, leaving it open to speculation as to what happened to her character.

If you're looking to do any kind of box office prediction for 2018, it'd be wise not to leave the sequel to Mamma Mia! out.

While we get a few shots of modern-day Streep-and the official press release promises that, yes, the actress will be in the film-the trailer seems to suggest that those appearances are posthumous.
