Jordan Feldstein, Maroon 5's manager and Jonah Hill's brother, dies at 40

His family asks for privacy during this hard and unexpected time.

The cause of death is unconfirmed but it is reportedly a heart attack.

Feldstein was the brother of actor Jonah Hill, Variety reported. "In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan's name", the spokesperson continued.

Feldstein was the CEO of and founder of CAM (Career Artist Management), a prominent management company based in Beverly Hills, CA.

Variety reported that Feldstein had been with Maroon 5 since the group first formed, and helped manage the band throughout their career, which included three GRAMMY wins, selling 20-million-plus records, global tours, and frontman Levine's role on NBC hit The Voice. A childhood friend of Adam Levine he had managed Maroon 5 for 15 years since the beginning of the band's music career. The Beverley Hills organization also managed acts like Miguel, Elle King, Robin Thick and others.

The note also seemed to express anger over President Donald Trump's recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The FBI executed a search warrant on his home on December 20 and allegedly found multiple firearms and explosives materials.

Feldstein got his start in the industry working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management.

He was the father of two children and is also survived by sister, Lady Bird actress Beanie Feldstein.

Jordan was married twice, once to Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca (though the marriage, in 2013, was annulled after a week).

Our thoughts are with Jordan's family and friends during this time of loss.
