PUBG Xbox One patch brings new Squad mode features; Addresses lag

While lag has been a common problem for PUBG, it's particularly frustrating now, as the release of 1.0 was meant to make a number of optimizations to the game. There are two key features coming along with this patch.

Before we dive into the patch notes, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the intermittent lag and character position readjustment issues our players are experiencing during matches.

The next Xbox One update is slated for a release early January.

Well, luckily for us, Bluehole has been working on removing this issue.

Anti-government protests spread across Iran, as 52 arrested
The semiofficial Ilna news agency reported there were smaller protests in Neyshabour, Kashmar, Yazd, and Shahroud. Protesters were filmed shouting anti-government slogans such as "death to the dictator" and "death to Rouhani".

This patch brings other welcomed changes, including proper map selection ratios between Erangel and Miramar. This is a relatively small change, but it will prevent you from telling your teammates where the enemies are the moment you die. Furthermore, resuming a replay will take you to where you left off, so you no longer need to watch them from the beginning.

As one of the most popular games of 2017, PUBG rose to prominence after being released for 'Early Access on Steam back in March and quickly spread throughout the gaming community as time went on.

The most frequent complaint remains the game's tendency to crash, and the patch also promises "continued performance optimizations" and "a variety of crash fixes" to help combat this. Of course, this isn't accounting for the sizeable player base built up on Xbox One since it released on the console December 12.
