Conte suggests rival manager Mourinho has senile dementia

Mourinho, in fact, at his United press conference on Thursday appeared to take a swipe at the Italian - and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp - for their attitudes in the technical area when he said he did not feel the need to behave like "a clown" on the touchline.

In an astonishing scattergun attack, Conte implied that José Mourinho was going senile; called Arsène Wenger an "old coach" who needs to accept refereeing decisions with more grace; distanced himself emphatically from the signing of Ross Barkley and the pursuit of Andy Carroll; and declared himself "ready to fight" anyone who criticises him or his squad.

The two managers have been engaging in a public war of words over the past 48 hours, beginning when Mourinho insisted that just because he doesn't "run up and down the touchline like a clown" doesn't mean that he doesn't care about his job or that he might walk away.

Conte was asked whether it irritated him when rival managers talked about him or his players. The French manager criticized referee Anthony Taylor who awarded the Blues a penalty at the Emirates recently. "Maybe, sometimes, I think that someone forgets what's said in the past, which is his behaviour", Conte said.

"But what never happened to me - and will never happen - is to be suspended for match-fixing".

"Probably the journalist wanted to say that but didn't have the courage to say that, so he said that Mourinho said that you behave as a clown".

He was referring to the 10 month ban, reduced to four, Conte served, before being eventually acquitted in 2016, for not reporting a fixing during a Serie B clash between Siena and Albinoleffe in 2010-11.

Pakistan denies supporting militants, pointing to its own war against extremist groups battling to overthrow the government. "The protection of religious freedom is vital to peace, stability, and prosperity".

Conte had spoken earlier about the demenza Mourinho suffered for ignoring his own antics.

Conte added: "There is a person that continues to look here".

"Maybe sometimes, someone forgets what they said or his behaviour and sometimes I think there is, I don't know the name, "demenza senile", when you are a bit".

29 July 2017: Conte says that he must avoid "a Mourinho season" as the champions attempt to defend their Premier League title.

Asked if other managers' comments annoy him, Conte replied: "I must be honest - I don't read [any of it]".
