Apple To Cancel iPhone X This Summer, Says KGI Securities

Amazon dominates with its Alexa-powered Echo range and the launch of Apple's own Homepod smart speaker missed the crucial holiday season and is still waiting for a launch date. During the same quarter in the prior year, the business earned $1.50 earnings per share. equities research analysts predict that Apple will post 11.15 earnings per share for the current year.

The prediction comes a research note produced by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI securities.

Kuo is a well-connected and highly-respected analyst with a proven track record.

Apple is expected to announce the successors of the iPhone X in fall 2018. But what should we expect from 2018's models?

iPhone X production is expected to end after Apple ships off the remaining order of 18 million devices. Chinese consumers love phones with large screens. KGI notes that a large number of Chinese users are now adhering to their existing phones for a long time, and specifically the notch on the top of the iPhone X's Super Retina display has turned away some potential customers in the region.

Winter storm will impact the area through Monday evening
This means there is the potential for hazardous to risky travel along with threat to life if precautions are not taken. This is when temperatures will be near 32 but a change to just heavy, wet snow is then expected by mid-morning.

In other Apple news, insider Daniel J. Riccio sold 15,641 shares of the stock in a transaction that occurred on Tuesday, November 14th.

The company believes that the tech giant will have a disappointing 2018 in terms of iPhone sales.

The most short-lived iPhone Apple has ever made? Longtime iOS users want something familiar as well, like the physical home button, Touch ID, and 16:9 display aspect ratio among others.

I think it's fair to say that the November launch of Apple's iPhone X marked the most exciting new iPhone release in years. This is presumably in light of reports that Apple iPhone X sales were not as high as expected. Accern also gave news coverage about the iPhone maker an impact score of 46.2034208215665 out of 100, meaning that recent media coverage is somewhat unlikely to have an impact on the stock's share price in the near future.

To be clear, the iPhone X's legacy is still likely to endure, even if the phone itself doesn't. Because of that, Kuo predicted Apple will place the iPhone X into an end-of-life cycle in the summer of 2018, stopping production on the device and removing it from its lineup.
