Creative Ways to Wear Red on National Wear Red Day

February 2 is Wear Red Day, which kicks off American Heart Month.

That's more than all cancers combined.

As you're getting dressed Friday morning, pull out your favorite red clothes because it's the 14th annual National Wear Red Day. About 80% of cardiovascular diseases may be prevented.

The event focused on the number one killer in women, heart disease which is how one in three women die each year.

Macy's is also celebrating Wear Red Day and is offering sales in-store and online through February 5. 80 percent of cases of women's heart disease could be prevented with education and action, the Association says.
