Justin Timberlake Surprises Super Bowl Selfie Kid on 'Ellen'

Numerous jokes revolved around McKenna's imaginary Google searches, such as "Who is Justin Timberlake" or "Lyrics to 'Can't Stop the Feeling.'" But it turns out that he was just dealing with a slow phone.

Ryan told Ellen how he got himself to Timberlake at the Minnesota game: "I pushed through".

Selfie Kid was shocked when the "Mirrors" singer-songwriter said his name as The Ellen DeGeneres Show audience roared with delight.

Their first encounter was during Sunday's halftime show when Timberlake ended his performance dancing through the stands.

McKenna turned up on Friday's episode of Ellen to talk about the surreal experience, when the host revealed that Timberlake was on the phone and wanted to speak to him, as reported by ET Online.

"Oh, my God!" McKenna gasped.

The former *NSYNC member came on the line and greeted the teen, who was then noticeably overcome with emotion. For the February 9 episode, Ryan McKenna, AKA the Super Bowl selfie kid, stopped by to chat with Ellen Degeneres, 60.

DeGeneres then joked that McKenna has become part of Timberlake's life.

Before ending the call, Timberlake shared one more message to McKenna.

"Thank you so much", McKenna overwhelmingly said as DeGeneres handed over four VIP tickets.

"I'll tell you what I want to do - because it was so unexpected that you came down and because all of this has happened - and I thought to myself, 'I really want to meet you properly, '" Timberlake said. The singer invited the teen and his family to meet him backstage at his upcoming concert in Boston.

DeGeneres also announced that the National Football League gave them a flawless experience with the New England Patriots.
