Eddie Hearn makes bold Kell Brook prediction after comeback win

It was Brook's fight fight since last May, since he relinquished his IBF welterweight strap to Spence Jr.

Brook (37-2, 26 KOs) could not afford another defeat after being stopped by American Errol Spence and Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin in his previous two fights. Elsewhere, Dave Allen gets another chance to win the Commonwealth heavyweight title against Lenroy Thomas, while Kid Galahad and Rocky Fielding are also in action.

This fight will mark the first appearance in a boxing ring for Brook since he lost his IBF title past year to American Errol Spence Jr at Bramall Lane. I'm just going to get back in the gym.

"I'm here to stay".

"I'm putting everyone on notice". It was all about getting timing right, and I was getting it right and I knew I buckled him.

"I feel great a few pounds heavier".

But I don't think that stands him in good stead for going up to super-welterweight against Kell.

Tiger Woods commits to Valspar Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational
Open three times and the British Open three times. "I missed the golf ball in the correct spots and I had control of my ball". Woods has won eight times in 17 starts at Bay Hill and will make his first appearance since claiming victory in 2013.

"I was in a dark place at Christmas. The feeling I get from going out there, hearing "All of the Lights" and doing my thing in front of all of the fans, it's wonderful for me, that's my drug and I can't wait to get back in there". I need to win.

He made his junior middleweight debut tonight at the Sheffield Arena, Sheffield, England in front of a packed hometown crowd against Belarus fighter Sergey Rabchenko and the fight was over quickly.

Brook suffered a broken left orbital bone against Spence after fracturing the other eye socket in a fifth-round stoppage defeat to WBC-IBF-WBA world middleweight champion Golovkin in September 2016.

Brook's last win came in the second round and the 31-year-old ended things in the second frame yet again this weekend as one inch-perfect right hand to the temple sent Rabchenko to the canvas and after the Belarusian returned to his feet on wobbly legs, the referee had seen enough.

Moments earlier, Brook uncorked a sweet left uppercut to rock Rabchenko before finishing him with the right hook.

Ten months on, and with his 32nd birthday just eight weeks away, Brook is looking ahead to that tantalising final payday against Amir Khan later this year, but to get there, he needs to win tonight.

That strap will put the victor in prime position for a shot at the top title now held by Jermell Charlo, who would provide a stern test for Brook but may also vacate the title by moving up to middleweight.
