Joshua Frazier drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers in seventh round

Coupled with the fact that Roethlisberger has discussed retirement in the past, the Steelers had a pressing need to find an heir apparent.

We saw the run on quarterbacks dry up on day two - only one quarterback was taken as we saw the Steelers draft the player they believe may be their signal caller of the future in Mason Rudolph. It is possible that Rudolph will be the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback by the 2020 season.

Rudolph will get to prove himself alongside his former teammate at Oklahoma State, James Washington.

Washington caught 226 passes for a school-record 4,472 yards and 39 touchdowns in four seasons with the Cowboys.

There will be many chances for Rudolph to prove himself, but not until Ben Roethlisberger retires.

This is the second straight year the Steelers have taken a wide receiver in the second round.

The fire was previously said to be out but the Superior Police Department said the blaze has reignited. Husky Energy states all workers have been accounted for and that local air quality is being monitored.

He was listed as a tight end in pre-draft reports, but for the Steelers, Samuels will be strictly used as a running back. Pittsburgh traded away its No. 2 receiver in Martavis Bryant to Oakland on Thursday night.

On the other side of the line, the Steelers return left tackle Alejandro Villanueva, a U.S. Military Academy graduate who in 2017 became the first service academy alum to make the NFL Pro Bowl.

The draft's final day is always full of intrigue and includes lots of hidden gems who could easily become tomorrow's dynasty darlings.

Washington has the tools to be one of the more explosive wide receivers to emerge from this draft class, and Rudolph should at least help him develop on the practice field.

Washington's selection marks the latest in a tradition of success for OSU wide receivers in the National Football League draft, as he joins Justin Blackmon, Dez Bryant, Rashaun Woods and Hart Lee Dykes as early-round picks at the position.
