Ronny Jackson will not return as Trump's physician, Politico reports

Ronny Jackson, who withdrew his name last week from consideration as VA secretary, will not be returning to his job as White House physician, Politico reports.

Tester, the top Democrat on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, had raised concerns about allegations against Jackson, including that he loosely handled prescription pain medications, was intoxicated during an overseas trip, and created a toxic work environment. Dr. Sean Conley, a Navy veteran, who has taken the position of Trump's private doctor after Jackson was nominated by Trump, will stay in that position.

The Washington Post said that Jackson will remain on the staff of the White House medical unit, but the New York Times reported that it was unclear if he would remain on staff or retire from the military.

Jackson dropped his bid to become the next secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) this week after Democratic Sen.

The records also say the White House medical unit Jackson ran successfully passed regular controlled substance audits.

"These were false accusations about a great man", he said.

The White House, however, showed reporters documents on Friday that a White House official claims exonerates Jackson from allegations he inappropriately dispensed pills and wrecked a government vehicle after leaving a Secret Service going away party.

Asda Opticians included in Sainsbury's merger
The supermarkets said that grocery prices would fall in both chains as a result of the merger. CEO Mike Coupe said: "We are focused on making Sainsbury's a destination of choice".

Trump had already singled out Senator Jon Tester, the top-ranking Democrat on the Senate Veterans' Affairs committee, who is up for re-election in November in Montana. "Not fair, Tester!", Trump added...

Trump's tweets say "the great people of Montana will not stand for this kind of slander" and that Jackson's reputation "for no reason whatsoever ... has been shattered. I said in a certain way.in a very big way, you're an American hero because you're exposed the system for some frightful things", he said. "Very dishonest and sick!"

Jackson has been serving as a White House physician since 2006.

The White House said on Friday it had looked through records of motor vehicle incidents involving government vehicles and found only three that involved Jackson.

Separately, the Secret Service said it has no evidence to support an allegation that its personnel intervened to prevent Jackson from disturbing former President Barack Obama during a foreign trip in 2015.

Jackson called the claims against him "false and fabricated".
