Rockets fans pumped for Western Conference Finals showdown vs. Warriors

If the Rockets offense can produce like we've seen, there's no question that Houston could be on their way to the NBA Finals.

The 12-year veteran has played on three teams, been to the playoffs every single season since he was 22, and now he's going to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in his career after the Houston Rockets beat the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night, 112-102.

"He was unbelievable", Harden said of Paul.

On a night when Harden went 7-for-22 from the field for 18 points - Paul later said Harden was under the weather - Paul did exactly what Houston brought him into do. "If he has that look in his eyes. he's a problem". The point guard has been panned for failing to get past the second round in his nine previous trips to the postseason.

After only shooting 30% in the third quarter, the Houston Rockets were down by three, 78-75.

Paul meanwhile played down his personal contribution to the win, even though his 41 points marked a career high in a playoff game. Also, it's a series that should have been over in five games, but thanks to the Jazz being nervous with a big lead, they saw a 25-point advantage evaporate within one quarter on the road before heading back to Salt Lake City to finish business.

"He was playing with a chip on his shoulder", Luc Mbah a Moute said. Though the incident caused Curry to become upset with officials, Curry showed no signs of discomfort after Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday pushed him toward the stanchion underneath the basket with 5:08 left in the third quarter.

All season, we've been waiting on Warriors-Rockets, and we're finally getting it - no excuses, no caveats. He lost to the Spurs 4-3 in 2008 while with New Orleans and was swept by San Antonio in 2012 with the Clippers.

Instagram continue their venture into the music market with 'music stickers'
She reports that Instagram crashed when she tried to post anything using the latest feature, which is still full of glitches. Now it looks like the company is planning to add a new feature that will let users add music to their Instagram Stories.

The Rockets, winners of a league-best 65 games, will try to end the Warriors' Finals streak on the back of presumptive league MVP James Harden. Kerr receives a lot of credit for moving Green to the 5 spot - which activates the Warriors' so-called "death lineup" - but he credits Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni for initiating the concept.

"I don't have a reaction, that's Draymond", New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry said. Paul said, via ESPN.

"Whatever it took to win", Paul said.

Game 1 of the Western Conference finals between the Rockets and Warriors is set for Monday in Houston.

The 33-year-old fled to the Rockets in the off-season, gelled with the team's leader James Harden and they stormed through the regular season with an National Basketball Association best record of 65 wins and 17 losses. "I know the Lakers went 15-1, they had a similar kind of joy ride where very little adversity, but that's the extreme exception".

Asked on Tuesday night if he felt like revealing his decision early, Kerr kept it simple:.

The defending champions are serious about a repeat title and took one step closer to that goal.

"We want to win another championship", Green said, "and it don't matter who's in the way of that".
