Kendall Wright named in investigation of Terrance Williams vehicle crash

It's been nearly a week since Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams was charged with public intoxication and police are still trying to figure out what exactly happened last Saturday, on a night that ended with the receiver's $325,000 Lamborghini being smashed into a light pole.

Police said they found the 2017 blue Lamborghini smashed near a light pole with no driver inside but were quickly able to determine that it was registered to Williams. Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk noted Williams was arrested for public intoxication but not the crash after he told the police how the vehicle was wrecked in the first place.

Williams claimed in his public statement that he was arrested by an officer who he says didn't perform a sobriety test before taking him into custody.

However, police footage from the arrest (that was obtained by TMZ) tells a completely different story, and this story involves Williams falsely blaming everything on Vikings receiver Kendall Wright.

Williams claimed that Wright called him and told him his Lamborghini was crashed, but when police asked Williams where his phone was, Williams said that it was in the vehicle.

When Williams made his first public comments about the crash, he made no mention of Wright, his college teammate at Baylor.

"My friend was a f--ing idiot and I'm literally driving toward to see what happened to [my car]", Williams said in the arrest video.

Trump defends China agreement to reduce trade imbalance
Treasury Secretary, cited "progress" in trade talks and said the economic rivals were "putting the trade war on hold". Trump reversed course via tweet a week ago, declaring that it would cost "too many jobs in China".

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday that he spoke with Williams, who is recovering from offseason foot surgery, a couple of times regarding the incident.

"All I have is what Terrance remembers", attorney Chip Lewis said, via the Dallas Morning News. "I know I can't drive a auto".

"That's my $325,000 vehicle that I paid for", he said.

'I live right near where the accident occurred, so my neighbor dropped me off and I called a tow truck and took the scooter from my house to go meet the tow truck driver. Police found Williams' cell phone in the wrecked Lamborghini. "I swear to God I would not try to lie to you".

In the video, you can see Williams swerving on the scooter and then falling off as officers approach him. "I apologize if I should have handled it a little bit differently". "I'm hopeful. I don't know the details".

Williams bonded out of Frisco City Jail on Saturday. "I read his public statement about it and take it at face value".
