United States first lady Melania Trump to skip G7, North Korea summit

The U.S. first lady, 48, has not been seen in public since May 10 when she and the president welcomed home three Americans who had been held prisoner in North Korea.

As well as not being spotted out and about, she declined to attend a family weekend at Camp David last weekend, while her spokesperson also confirmed she will not be joining her husband on two upcoming foreign trips, ABC News reported.

The first lady and president hosted a similar event this same time past year in honor of the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve America's freedom.

On May 14 she was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland for the kidney procedure.
