This Raccoon Climbing A Skyscraper Has Everyone Really Stressed Out

Locals have deemed the animal "Spider-Raccoon", per Minnesota Public Radio News.

Paige Donnelly Law, which is also located in the UBS building, posted some close-up shots of the varmint, which the law firm said "seems to be doing well".

With no balconies or windows that open, office workers inside the building were left to watch anxiously as the raccoon continued its climb.

The raccoon then steadily ascended UBS Tower, taking the time to groom itself and lay down along the way. That's when it started climbing.

The skyscraper-scaling raccoon doesn't just have people keeping track to see what the creature's ultimate fate will be, though.

Many expressed concern for the raccoon's safety - wondering aloud about possible rescue scenarios. "We're working with staff & building owner to find a way to help #MPRraccoon without further endangering it or staff by scaring or making it feel threatened".

The adventurous animal was first spotted Monday on a second-story ledge of the Town Square building.

There is not a whole lot that St. Paul Animal Control can do because a rescue mission would be too risky for both the raccoon and the workers.

The raccoon has gotten Twitter so excited that someone has even started an account on the critter's behalf: "The St. Paul Raccoon".
