Paul McCartney Brings James Corden To Tears In ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Legendary singer Paul McCartney joined James Corden for an episode of "Carpool Karaoke" and even brought the host to tears!

Paul directed James to the road he immortalized in song, Penny Lane, whose famous sign they autographed. "I've never heard that, that's kind of good.' So I wrote the song "Let It Be" but it was her positivity". McCartney also related a story about a dream he had in which his late mother told him everything would be all right and that he should "Just let it be", which became the inspiration for the song "Let It Be".

"McCartney revealed: ". And he listened to the whole song, and he said: "It's very nice", he said. So I woke up going 'What was that?

McCartney, who is now 76, is clearly not slowing down any time soon: he's releasing a new album in the fall, called Egypt Station, and just put out two new songs.

The final stop on Corden and McCartney's adventure featured a surreal experience for the patrons of a local pub as they were treated to a full concert from the timeless musician.

As their journey continued, McCartney shared the story behind the making of that tune and others, like the early hit "She Loves You"; gave Corden a tour of the home where he wrote numerous early Beatles tunes with John Lennon; and eventually surprised some unsuspecting pub customers with a live concert and emotional rendition of "Hey Jude".
