Arsenal complete £17m signing of Sokratis Papastathopoulos

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund today and the Greek global comes to the Emirates Stadium at a time they needed a new defender at the club.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos is a solid signing for Arsenal.

He helped the club to win the DFB-Pokal in the 2016-17 season, also claiming a brace of DFL-Supercup crowns during his time at Dortmund.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos has completed his move to Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund.

"They said to me the best things about this club, that it is one big family and of course they also called me not every day but a lot of times telling me to come here".
