Oddsmakers believe Raptors are favorites to land Kawhi Leonard

Until this week, the favorites to acquire Leonard had been the Lakers and Sixers, but the Spurs reportedly have asked for too much in return.

Will Kawhi Leonard actually be traded this offseason?

It's probably a longshot, but it is interesting to see that Toronto is being talked about alongside National Basketball Association heavyweights like the Los Angeles Lakers - Leonard's preferred choice - the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.

Before the Sixers and other interested teams give a "Godfather" offer to the Spurs, it is highly likely that they will first want to get an assurance that Leonard is already 100 percent recovered from the quad injury.

An article published in the Washington Post this week said the Raptors have "generated buzz" as a potential Leonard destination.

Elite military and divers from several countries entered the cave on three separate days to bring out the boys one by one. Their body temperatures were very low when they emerged, and two are suspected of having lung inflammation.

While there's been no concrete reporting that Toronto is actively trying to break up their starting backcourt, there's been plenty of speculation that the team would look to trade one of their All-Stars.

Leonard's discontent with the San Antonio Spurs has been well-publicized in recent weeks, and a handful of teams were linked to the former NBA Finals MVP. But, in the latest development, there's been some interesting movement on the betting front, as the Toronto Raptors now have the best odds to start next season with the superstar forward on their roster. The Raptors don't have any developing players that would be considered untouchable. It has only been a few months, but it seems like this saga has been brewing for a billion years.

Considering the Sixers were swept out of the playoffs by the Celtics this past year, they could definitely use a player like Leonard to help compete with an even more loaded Boston team next season. Leonard's odds of starting the season with the Spurs are the same as his odds of playing for the Raptors in the season opener.

It may not be ideal for the Spurs, but it's one that would get the deal done.
