Aleksandar Mitrovic joins Fulham from Newcastle on five-year deal

Though Newcastle are yet to officially confirm Muto's arrival, a deal is believed to have been agreed in principle, with only a few formalities - including the acquisition of a work permit - to be ironed out.

Newcastle United have struck a deal on Japan global striker Yoshinori Muto's transfer from Mainz, the English Premier League club announced Friday. Since then he has managed a total of 66 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 20 goals and has set up ten more for his team-mates.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has finalised his permanent switch from Newcastle to Fulham in a deal worth £20million.

"I'm happy to the moon and back", said Mitrovic, who scored for Serbia at the World Cup earlier this summer.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the session, team boss Toto Wolff echoed Hamilton's sentiments. Toro Rosso's Brendon Hartley spun at the final corner right at the end of the session.

'I have love for the fans.

"The popular striker has signed a five-year deal, keeping him at Craven Cottage until at least the summer of 2023, and will wear the number nine shirt". They're fantastic fans and I have a really good connection with them. He scored 17 times in 72 games for the Magpies.

"This is a really big club for me, it has a big name and it is a brilliant chance for me", the 26-year-old Schar said.

In a statement, Mainz said: "We have had had good and productive talks with Newcastle, and come to an agreement in principal". We want to keep making big things, and with all the fans behind us I think we can go far'. "He has done well in the Bundesliga, so we're talking about a striker that's doing well in the last few years at worldwide level".
