Samsung Note 9 Release Date Leaks

Samsung plans to officially launch the Note 9 at the next Unpacked event next Thursday on August 9, and we'll be there for hands-on coverage.

Samsung has kicked off Galaxy Note 9 pre-orders yesterday, and the Galaxy Note 9 pre-order video has just been published by Samsung New Zealand on YouTube. In terms of memory, the Galaxy Note 9 will be equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Samsung is getting about as leaky as OnePlus these days, and there have been all manner of details about the upcoming Galaxy Note9 slipping out over recent days. No huge surprises, then, but perhaps they're detailed in a different Galaxy Note 9 teaser?

Collectively, the Note 9 is confirmed to have a 4000 mAh battery, the largest battery Samsung has ever put in a mass-market smartphone. It is said that Note 9 will come with an improved cooling system and S Pen and apparently an attention to the gaming world.

For the cameras, Samsung has brought over the dual camera setup from the Galaxy S9+, which combines two 12MP sensors.

The phone has been rumoured to be quite similar to Note 8 when it comes to its specifications.

In this promo video, Samsung touts the Note 9 as being "super powerful" and having a "powerful all day battery".

That's the Samsung exclusivity deal, which suggests that the biggest game on the world right now would only be available on Galaxy Note 9 for a period of 30 days. The 512GB variant has been listed with price RM5099, which in Indian rupees should equal to close to Rs 86,000.

From all the renders and leaks we've seen, we can speculate with some confidence as to what the Galaxy Note 9 will look like.
